I’m Maki Yamada, the founder and designer of studio Tamaki.

My journey in surface and pattern design has been shaped by a background in visual merchandising at 45R and product sourcing for the interior design firm ODADA.

Color, minimal displays, timeless objects, and the beauty of craftsmanship inspire my work. Whether I walk in nature or through the city, I keep my senses alive with color and form. Photography is my daily inspiration, and I approach each design with thoughtfulness, curiosity, and care.
